Mme. Shea's Summer Reading Recommendation:
I am sure you will find this shocking..... but I highly recommend any of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling. I can guarantee that as soon as you pick up the first book you will get sucked into the magical world of Harry Potter! You will fall in love with the characters. You will wish you had magical powers. And....don't be surprised if you find yourself anxiously waiting for your letter from Hogwarts! I can't wait to hear what you think of these books!
Reading Challenge #2 (Winner will be drawn June 1st)
Each time you complete a response activity to a book, a chapter from a novel or a text of your choice and turn it in to your homeroom teacher, you will receive ballots to have your name entered in a DRAW.
The DRAW will be on the first day of each month and there are 2 prizes of $10 e-gift cards to be won! If you win, you can choose which type of e-gift card you would like (DQ, Tim Hortons, VBucks, iTunes, Amazon, etc.)
